David Jayne is the founding member and core energy of Neurohumors.  He navigates the band through the jams, and the varying and unpredictable nature of the Neurohumors sound is an extension of David's own approach to performance and improvisation.  Self-taught on drums for 34 years, with a smattering of piano lessons over the past 29, David has nevertheless mastered many styles and formats of music. His restlessness and refusal to be locked into one niche, much less one instrument, is a key factor in the variety of rhythms, dynamics and timbre so prevalent in the Neurohumors' "spontaneous compositions".
